Optimising marine logistics in the North West.

Kimberley Marine Support Base (KMSB) is developing a modern marine logistics facility, called the Kimberley Marine Offloading Facility (KMOF), that is designed specifically for Broome’s unique environment and extreme tidal fluctuations.

The new port infrastructure within the Port of Broome, incorporates a floating wharf linked to a fixed causeway, and will allow safe and efficient 24/7 operations regardless of tide depth - driving advanced solutions, improving efficiencies and reducing costs and carbon emissions.

Fit for purpose infrastructure.

KMSB takes the region’s extreme tidal cycle out of the equation.

Where once the tides dictated berthing time, efficiency and costs, KMSB's superior infrastructure will provide the maritime sector with a technical solution that delivers a usable facility across the entire tidal spectrum.

CORE SOLUTIONS:

Reduced berthing wait times

Strategic proximity to numerous major developments

Efficiency delivering reduced berthing costs

Enhancing overall port capacity

Contemporary operator model

Improved industrial land availability
